Stien graduated from Leiden University with a bachelor's and master's degree in civil law. During her studies, she taught first-year law students Roman property and contract law. She wrote her thesis on the liability of auction houses and the duty of buyers to investigate the authenticity of auctioned works of art.
After graduating in 2025, Stien joined Corten De Geer as a lawyer. She will mainly specialize in leasehold, other property rights, and property law in general.
In her spare time, Stien enjoys walking through Amsterdam, bird watching, and cooking.
