Jeroen Corten graduated from the University of Amsterdam in 1998 and has since worked in the legal profession at various law firms in Amsterdam and Rotterdam. At the end of 2009, he founded the law firm Corten De Geer Vastgoedadvocaten together with Eduard de Geer.
Over the years, Jeroen has specialized in real estate, partly through the Grotius Specialization Course in Real Estate. The focus of his practice is leasehold, and Jeroen is considered one of the few specialists in this field in the legal profession. Jeroen frequently advises and litigates on behalf of parties involved in leasehold matters, such as project developers, investors, interest groups, and private leaseholders. He is a skilled mediator and litigator with a practical approach.
Legal areas register (Art. 35 b(1) of the Legal Profession Regulations)
Jeroen Corten is registered in the main legal area of real estate law and the sub-legal area of leasehold. This registration requires the lawyer to obtain ten training points in each registered main legal area every calendar year in accordance with the standards of the Dutch Bar Association.
